As of last year, 2017, employment rate in Mindanao along with its neighboring regions, Soccsksargen and the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) recorded the highest employment rate in the island group at 95.7 percent. Both regions also have the highest employment rate in the whole country.
